From 5 to 7 October 2026, Economy Park Heidelberg-Leimen was represented at EXPO REAL in Munich. Together with the City of Heidelberg, the location showcased itself at the joint stand of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region.
EXPO REAL is one of the leading international trade fairs for property and investment. It brings together local authorities, companies, investors and project developers, and offers a central platform for new projects, locations and partnerships.
For Economy Park, the focus was on presenting the inter-municipal commercial and industrial site and the opportunities it offers for businesses to set up there. During face-to-face discussions, the area’s potential was explained and prospects for interested companies were highlighted. Particular emphasis was placed on the first development phase, covering around twelve hectares, as well as on companies in the sustainable building materials and medical technology sectors.
After three days at the fair, the overall assessment is positive: the discussions and newly established contacts offer promising prospects for the further development of the Economy Park Heidelberg-Leimen. The next step is to continue these discussions and build on the contacts made.
