The Economy Park Heidelberg – Leimen recently welcomed some high-profile visitors: District President Alexander Föhr visited the site together with Vice-President Peter Hahn and other representatives of the District Administration Karlsruhe.
The guests were welcomed by the Association’s Chairman, Lord Mayor John Ehret, and the Deputy Chairman, First Mayor Jürgen Odszuck.
The visit focused on the current plans and the next stages of development for the Economy Park Heidelberg – Leimen. During a tour of the site, the guests were given an insight into the planned transport infrastructure – including the future through road and the planned tram link. In addition, the first development phase, covering around 12 hectares on the Etex site, was presented.
With Regional President Alexander Föhr’s visit coming just a few weeks after he took office, the Economy Park had an early opportunity to present the current status of the project directly on site and to discuss key issues relating to its further development.
